TEXT: 1 PETER 5:8-10

AMP: Be well balanced (temperate, sober of mind), be vigilant and cautious at all times; for that
enemy of yours, the devil, roams around like a lion roaring [in fierce hunger], seeking someone
to seize upon and devour.
Withstand him; be firm in faith [against his onset—rooted, established, strong, immovable, and
determined], knowing that the same (identical) sufferings are appointed to your brotherhood (the
whole body of Christians) throughout the world.
:And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace [Who imparts all blessing and
favor], Who has called you to His [own] eternal glory in Christ Jesus, will Himself complete and
make you what you ought to be, establish and ground you securely, and strengthen, and settle
you
There are times you notice the enemy appears to be working overtime in your life or in the lives
of people around you. It may be an evil pattern occurring in a particular community or tribe.
Once you notice that, go to work to reverse everything the enemy has done. Put a stop to his
activities. That is not the time to speak fanciful English. It is time to take action.

TO CAGE THE ENEMY’S RAGE, YOU NEED TO DO THE FOLLOWING:
1. Repent of whatever the Holy Spirit reveals to you as a sin in your life or in your blood line
(ancestors). Receive God’s forgiveness by faith.
2. Purge and cleanse your blood line with the precious blood of Jesus. Colossians 2:14
3. Come before the heavenly court and plead the blood of Jesus. Ask that the blood of Jesus will
silence the voice of the accuser and wipe away all the accusations piled up against you.
Revelation 12:10, 11: Hebrews 12:24
4. Ask the Lord Jesus to plead your case before the Righteous Judge. Jesus is not just your Great
High Priest, He is also your heavenly Advocate. 1 John 2:1
5. Ask that your Heavenly Father, the righteous Judge will dismiss all the charges brought
against you by the accuser.
6. Request that the verdict written concerning you in heaven will find expression on earth. Luke
11:1, 2
7. Ask that the angels of God who serve in the courts of heaven will enforce this heavenly
verdict. Revelation 12:22
8. Thank God by faith because it is done.

PRAYER:
Lord I declare that I now have a fresh new beginning in life. All things are working out for good
for me.
