Born on 15th August, 1956 Reverend Dr. John Esuga Akpami is the founding Pastor, Global Revival Gospel Ministries Inc aka Christian Teaching Centre, Zaria, Kaduna State.Reverend Dr John Esuga Akpami became born again at young age (14 year old). When he noticed the call of God upon his life, he responded. Dr John Akpanmi is a medical doctor by profession and medicine at Ahmadu Bello University Teaching Hospital (ABUTH), Tundun Wada, and Zaria. He celebrated his 64th birthday in the year 2010.  Rev Dr. John Akpami birthday is 15th august 1956 (as at 2021).

Based on the existing statement that he knew God early in life, and also received the call of God. In 1983, he encountered the Lord while he was praying in his closet during the days of his medical practice. His encounter with the Lord led him to start a mini bible study group with some people with his environment. Dr. John Akpami was committed to this vision and he began to mature people in Christ through small group bible study.

The reward of good work is more responsibility. This small bible study grew such that in the year 1987, Dr. John Akpami established or pioneered a revival ministry in the North called Christian Teaching Centre Family Church. Recent update is that, Reverend John Akpami’s ministry which is Global Revival Gospel Ministries founded another named Global Revival Gospel Ministries.  The ministry is located in Kaduna state (Zaria).

The ministry was committed and still committed to the vision of equipping Christians for Kingdom lifestyle, maturity and service. Glad to tell you that Rev. Dr. John Akpami (Global Revival Gospel Ministries) has been recorded as the fastest growing church in the North.

Rev Dr. John Akpami has raised many Apostles and ministers in fivefold ministry through discipleship. It is pleased to tell you that Rev Dr. John Akpami is the spiritual father of Apostle Arome Osayi. He has also been a blessing to the ministry of Rev. Gideon Odoma of Fortress ministry . Rev Dr. John Akpami holds yearly conference tagged: International Overcomers Convention. Some of the key ministers of this convention are Dr. John Akpami , Apsotle Arome Osayi, Dr Mike Akpami Clara, Prof. Mossy Madugba and host of others.

Global Revival Gospel Ministries International has it’s headquarters in Zaria Nigeria. The church has branches in other parts of the world. The church also established Global Revival Bible Training institutes, a diploma and a degree awarding bible school that has trained and graduated several church leaders and ministers.

Rev Dr. John Akpami has authored more than fifty (50) books.  Today, he is into full time ministry work. Rev Dr. John Akpami holds a doctorate degree (Ph.D) in pastoral theology from evangel Christian university U.S.A.

Dr. John Akpami is a seasoned teacher of God's word and a 21st century leader. He is the president of Christian Teaching Center Family Church, Zaria.
